A commercial photographer in the 1990s and 2000s, as part of a production shingle which included all manner of creative image-making in all manner of creative work environments—whether shooting from airplanes or working on film sets or developing brand campaigns, to name a few—Mark, along with his wife, Allison, eventually purchased the gallery and frame shop called Toucan in their hometown of Billings, Montana.

Today, after enough time to regain his creative composure and reclaim his photographic vision, Mark has returned to producing still photographs, with an emphasis on people and portraits.

Mark makes photographs with a commercial/editorial sensibility, but for anyone and everyone, producing portraits that capture the true essence of a person in an image of a quality and style worthy of a national advertisement or the cover of a magazine. Each and every person is the star of the movie of their own life, and so this is the kind of unique, creative, high-end imagery that stardom like that deserves.
